To achieve his FFX-O title, Quest earned all three of his obedience titles within a one year period: CD on December 18, 2016, CDX on April 13, 2017, and UD on December 17, 2017.

In 2017, Quest also earned his Graduate Novice title (GN) on February 2nd, his Preferred Companion Dog Excellent title (PCDX) on April 13th, his GRCA Conformation Certification Assessment on August 6th (CCA), his Novice Preferred Fast Agility title (NFP) on October 6th, his Graduate Open title (GO) on October 14th, and his Novice Preferred Standard Agility title (NAP) 0n November 11th.

Quest loves working with me and is very anxious to please. When he was a puppy, I introduced him to all of the obedience exercises as well as the glove, dumbbell, scent articles, and go-outs to a baby gate in the kitchen before he was reliable enough to be allowed on the carpeting in the rest of the house. I continued with this as he grew up, thus preventing him from getting bored. I have had problems with his enthusiasm overcoming his restraint in all of the retrieving exercises so we have spent lots of time dealing with those issues. At the GRCA National Specialty at the end of September, Quest started getting things together and he earned two agility legs and two obedience legs, one of them, his first Utility leg with a placement. While we were getting into position before Scent Articles on the day he earned his second Utility leg, Quest did get really excited and started wagging his tail very fast, swiping the two articles off of the chair. He calmed down and went on to get a leg that day and his title the next day.

    German Shepherd
Owned & Handled by Jeff Postle

I am honored to have achieved the requirements necessary to receive the Front & Finish Excellence Award (FFX-O).  There are many people along the way that have helped make this possible.  I'd like to thank all my instructors and fellow trainers for all their instruction and advice.  A special thanks to Meadowlake Pet Resort and Training Center for all of their help and support from their excellent training group; and to Landschaft Kennels for their continual effort in breeding high quality German Shepherds.  A huge thank you to all that have helped along the way!
